As of August 17th 2009, Oxymat has lowered prices and improved the PSA programme to record high performance levels both in oxygen and nitrogen systems.
In Oxymat A/S we were lucky – we had not foreseen the crisis, but we did a large production move to Slovakia 3 years ago in order to reduce costs. Lately, on September 1st, 2006, Oxymat bought a factory there and started a sustainable, long journey leading into a new era.
In 2006, we did believe that the competition in our business from East Asia would be tough in the future, and we still do believe so.
Therefore, we have got ready for meeting any competition on this market. We have believed, and we still do, that our presence on this market 20 years ahead will be based on outstanding, state-of-the-art products at competitive prices. We are proud to announce that we have already reached this goal and we do intend to stay ahead of the competition on the market for many years – technology-wise and price-wise.
As for Oxygen PSA, we have just released our new ECO series of 18 models from 5 to 305m³/h, where we cut down up to 10 % energy consumption. Combined with a selected compressor programme, in total we can actually save up to 15 %. Furthermore, what is very important during the global economic crisis, in 2009 we managed to lower the prices of our large 300 m³/h plants by 41 %. A redesign of our large-scale programme in cooperation with the R&D has made it possible to substantially cut our prices.
As for the nitrogen programme, we have achieved an outstanding performance in terms of the lowest air to N2 factor on the market. Additionally, a redesign in our high purity programme has dramatically improved our competitiveness and positioned Oxymat very positively against any competition on the market.
New results of our R&D department render another 10 % energy saving probable, making it evident that we have reached our goal: to become the leading company in low energy PSA systems.
Figures show that we have reduced our prices significantly this year, enabled by the fact that we managed to lower our
company capacity costs by having moved our production to Slovakia.
Combined with an outstanding R&D work and newly largely improved types of CMS and Zeolite, this fact has enabled price reductions. Together with our Marine and Competence group of 9 very skilled employees in Denmark, we have built a fantastic team of excellent employees counting 55 members in total.

We have achieved our goals by positioning ourselves in the European top position by means of new standards in performance and energy consumption – and thereby CO2 emissions – at prices suitable for exporting to the Far East Asia.
We believe that only the price and cost oriented companies with 100 % focus on bringing the energy consumption down will survive.
In the nitrogen programme we are able to deliver a PSA plant performing 1.000 m³ per hour at 5% oxygen at prices 40 % lower than those as of the beginning of 2009 (plant consuming only 50 % energy of comparable membrane nitrogen plants). On the marine market Oxymat has strong arguments to convince ship owners, as well as ship yards worldwide, that this is really the time to change to PSA technology in exchange for the membrane technology. Even at 5 % purity we use 50 % less energy, and prices for the two systems have become equal in the large end of the programme beginning from 1.500 m³ per hour up. Not only will our customers possess a low energy nitrogen system, but optionally, integrated in the same plant we also supply high purity nitrogen down to 10 ppm. We deliver a control system with 3 easy-to-learn touch screens with a full control of flow, purity, pressure, dew point, and optional dry air by-pass, double block and bleed system integrated. A state-of-the-art 3D graphics eases the monitoring and the operation very much.
In high purity nitrogen systems we can produce down to 1 ppm in one step without the use of extra equipment and hydrogen. We have by far the best air/N2 factor out of all European manufacturers nowadays. Also, we have by far the most competitive prices due to low capacity costs and high investments in R&D to develop better performing systems. Currently, we launched our nitrogen ECO programme at the beginning of April 2009.
We take care about your financial well-being during the crisis, so we cut your investment costs dramatically and take care even more about our environment. In Oxymat we take global warming very seriously. If you do too, your choice is easy: Oxymat products.
