Oxymat is the worldwide Innovative Manufacturer of Oxygen PSA generators using zeolite as molecular sieve and Nitrogen PSA generators using carbon molecular sieve or just CMS in short.

For both molecular sieves it is important to select the right quality and supplier - depending on purity, pressure and flow requested by the customer. To be sure that we also in the future can keep our position as innovative in developing energy saving PSA systems, we have a 5 persons R&D department studying how to optimize the PSA systems performance.

The last 5-6 years development in zeolite and CMS has really been essential, this is due to heavy competition on the market from many suppliers around the world. Therefore it is very important to maintain flexibility in products and production, because changing in molecular sieve often requires changing in process, in piping and in instruments.

Oxymat has always supplied very flexible generators, where changes are easy to implement. Contrary with generators build in aluminium banks  and similar productconcepts it is very difficult  to change process and molecular sieve in such a system ! The reason is that the pipe design always will be an integrated part of the “block” design.

We have tested and keep on testing molecular sieve whether it is CMS or Zeolite. R & D department  test new qualities almost every month in order to find the optimal combination between quality, purity, flow and price.

In oxygen PSA we are at least  15 % better in energy consumption than any PSA manufacturer worldwide, but we won`t stop here. Our  vision is to reduce the energy much more, diffirent   qualities of zeolite I combination with innovative processes. We are willing to put resources in  spending  thousands of  hours to get our target. 

In Nitrogen PSA we also have achieved a world leading position, but due to cost of CMS it is very important to play with different qualities and processes. We believe we have settled the right course, we are pretty sure we can announce further improvement in our PSA generators within end of this year. And what is even more important, we are developing systems that can be upgraded easily with newest technology, so far we can offer you a full upgrade of older PSA systems to latest technology level.
